How to plan a Clash of Clans attack map
A strong attack plan is easier to execute when the entry, spell timing, hero path, and cleanup route are visible before the battle starts. The attack mapper lets you upload a base screenshot, draw arrows, place numbered pins, write notes, and export the plan as an image for personal review or clan discussion.
The tool works best when you treat each mark as a decision: where the funnel starts, where the army enters, which defenses must fall early, and what troops clean the back end.
What to mark before attacking
- Entry point and funnel troops.
- Main army path through compartments.
- Spell locations and timing notes.
- Hero ability checkpoints.
- Cleanup troop path and risky corner buildings.
Planning example
For a Queen Charge Hybrid attack, mark the Queen entry first, then mark the expected path to the Clan Castle or Town Hall. Add pins for Rage, Freeze, and Heal timing. Finally, draw the Miner and Hog Rider path so the plan shows where the main army should meet the Queen's value.

| Erase | Clean up uncertain ideas | Remove an entry if pathing changes. |
FAQ
Can I use the mapper for clan war planning?
Yes. Export the marked image and share it with clanmates, but always double-check traps, Clan Castle troops, and hero availability before attacking.
Are screenshots uploaded to a server?
The page is designed to use the screenshot locally in your browser for the current session.
What makes a good attack plan?
A good plan has a clear entry, predictable pathing, spell timing, hero ability checkpoints, and a cleanup idea.
