Hybrid Attack Planning Guide
Hybrid attacks rely on pathing. Miners and Hog Riders need a narrow route through defenses, and the Queen or funnel troops should remove buildings that would split the army.
The plan should show where the army enters, where the first Heal lands, and which defenses must be frozen or tanked before the core collapses.
Build the route
Start by marking the Queen value and the opposite funnel. The Hybrid should move between those cleared edges instead of spreading across the entire base.
Key timing marks
- First Heal over early splash damage or giant bomb zones.
- Freeze for Town Hall, Scattershot, Inferno, or dangerous core value.
- Warden ability through the heaviest damage or Town Hall explosion.
- Cleanup after the Hybrid commits, not before the path is stable.
When Hybrid is a poor fit
Hybrid struggles when pathing is too wide, splash damage is layered across the full route, or the Queen cannot create enough value. In those cases, a different army may be safer than forcing the same template.
FAQ
What makes Hybrid pathing clean?
Clean Hybrid pathing has two cleared edges and a clear lane through defenses so Miners and Hogs do not split too widely.
Should cleanup start early?
Cleanup should support the plan, but early cleanup that changes pathing can hurt the Hybrid route.
